Rubicon Models 28mm (1/56) scale M4A3 76mm

The ubiquitous M4 "Sherman" with a bit more bite!

A welcome addition to my 28mm US armored force is Rubicon's M4A3. I chose to go with the 76mm variant, but with a little creativity (and possibly some resin part casting) you can make all three versions; 76mm, 75mm, or the 105mm option.

I tried giving a little cast texturing using Mr. Surfacer.

Once again a true pleasure to build, even with the accuracy "omissions" of some of the finer details of the historical vehicle for game piece purposes. Remember, these are meant to be used to play games and not static display models...still a very nice kit!
